Could anybody recommend a very good acting agent for me to work with?

Know this I am an odd one out, in the sense that – the majority of actors you ask with an agent are not going to share that info with you. This Industry has a lot of self concious, jealouse divas who are threatened when you ask such questions. When an average actor hears, “which agency are you with, I’m looking to get one, can I get their details off you?” warning bells ring in their ears and you’ll get all kinds of excuses flying at you. Just like the other answer on this page.
My best advice for you is get in touch with the Entertainment Union of your Country and ask for a list of reputable agencies off them (it is their job to help you). Once you have that list visit their websites and short list which agency you feel suits your needs. Then send through your cover letter, resume, headshots and showreel, to them by post.
